Excellent workout

I didn’t go to the gym last week as I was so sick with my sinus infection and the antibiotics were wiping me out.

I am totally swamped with work and barmitzvah and house stuff – and I came up with a million excuses why I couldn’t go to the gym today. But I was stressed and crabby and grumpy and I knew I needed it.

We just got back and even though my muscles are sore (and bound to feel worse tomorrow) I feel so much better. I just zoned out at the gym, concentrated just on my reps and my breathing – I let everything else slide.

Of course in the five minutes since I have been back home I have been multitasking BUT I can think clearly now. I can be methodical. Must be the endorphins or something, but I feel great.

    Well, I took my kid to work because her school was closed so I did nothing for myself yet. Later, I will put her to bed and curl up with a mystery novel.

  2. I worked out for some two hours, and afterwords found a ‘hypnosis relaxation’ video on youtube which was great. I just lay down, played the video, and relaxed.
