Six Things Remarried Dads Owe to their StepMom Wives

I just read this article over on the Huffington Post – and while everything the author says has merit, I wanted to add that it also applies to StepDads whose wives move in with their children – the Step Dads also deserve the same considerations mentioned in this article. No offense to the writer but those six things that he mentioned applies to all marriages. A marriage without commitment, patience, compassion, appreciation, time and empathy is a marriage that doesn’t sound good to me. I understand that his piece meant something more to you because he applies these items to step-parents. However, those marriage principals are not exclusive to second marriages.

I fully intended to read the article, but the second slide made me shriek and close my browser. Those are some serious Wicked Witch of the West hands.

  3. thank you so much for posting this hadassah. and this is what i would want to tell someone who is marrying someone who has never been a parent. it is very scary. and it is very different than two people who are married and neither have had kids. which is the point of the article. this particular article does not appy to all marriages.
