Seriously??

I set the boys to folding the laundry this afternoon. They want to go to the library, I have work to do, cooking as well, so if they want to go they have to make it happen. There were two full loads of laundry to be folded and put away. Once they were done with that they needed to go and clean their rooms and make them ready for Shabbat. And then we could discuss going to the library.

All of their laundry got folded and put away. All of the KoD’s laundry got folded – we don’t ask the kids to put away OUR laundry. All of my stuff. Still in the pile. Not folded. None of it.

Um, kids, why didn’t you fold my laundry? We didn’t know how. Hmm. How different from folding a blue tee shirt is it to fold a pink tee shirt? The colour must complicate matters.

I get that they don’t want to fold my underwear, and that’s cool. But the other items are just the same as theirs – how hard could it have been to do it??!!

I may just have to forget how to cook their favourite meals….

Yup. And maybe forget some of their other stuff too, like lunches, pocket money, etc

Such a male dominated house! poor poor hadassah! ;)

I acutally see why it can be a little awkward. No real reason why it should be, but I’d give them a pass on this one.

Maybe they saw a bra and panicked. At a certain age, one of those can do that to a boy.
