Naftali’s Aliyah

Naftali’s Aliyah

Last Monday my second son Naftali made aliyah. He didn’t want a ton of attention or to do interviews or to have pictures taken and avoided every video camera. But me being me I got a few good pictures at the airport and a ton of memories.

Doing something for the first time always makes it different – but second time around this was just as emotional, but I knew what to expect so I think I emotionally handled it better. Naf isn’t one for long tearful goodbyes and the tears that flowed in the last few days from my eyes made him a little sad. I tried to make him see how happy we all are for him, but he knows that we will miss him so very much.

Here are some pix for those of you who haven’t see them plastered over my Facebook.

I can see that they are very different people with the same basic values. You’re an excellent mother.
