Barmitzvah Shabbat

Prince HockeyFan’s barmitzvah is this weekend and I am running around like crazy taking care of last minute details, juggling work and kids and parents and house (and KoD). The community is being awesome at helping, and surrounding us with love and light. Plenty of friends and family are making huge efforts to come and join us – it’s going to be great.

My speech is more or less written, my outfit is ready, the photographer booked, the menfolk have their suits, their shoes will be shined to perfection. There will be no pink anywhere near this weekend.

Today is just running around taking care of last minute things and making sure our house is stocked with enough food and drink to take care of all our visitors.

I am starting to get less stressed and more excited.

Let’s get this party started!!
